How about this as an idea for a future chapter.
Not everyone wants to be the hero of the story. Have you wanted to just go about killing and destroying good? Did you cheer for Shiro when he killed Togo? Then this is the idea for you.
Have a shared storyline where you can play for the side of good or evil. It would work something like the Factions story except you would play the same missions as either side. You would have a faction system but instead of your faction being used for nothing but controling a town you would gain control of certain skills that only work when your side has favor.
Even smaller quests could be a GvE decision much like the quest where you could either drink the potion or take it to be examined. A NPC asks you to go and get something he lost. You could go and find the item and bring it back to him or you can sell it on the black market and make a profit. Your choice would earn you points for your side.
This chapter would be a good time to create a spy or rouge type of character.
There are probably more things that could be done in this theme like the skill one. Let's hear your ideas

This reminds me of that one game, I can never remember the name of it, but in it if you do evil deeds (like killing gaurds and helpless people) you begin to grow horns.

There is a game called Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. When you get evil enough, you get veins popping on your head and your eyes turn a sickly yellow. Then you get certain skills depending on your side (good or evil), like force lightning and siphoning life from the enemies. Furthermore, you could have certain professions aligned with certain sides, for instance a necromancer would easily be evil, but you can make him good if you want. Or you could have an evil monk :P

Fable by Lionhead/Microsoft. The only good thing about that game was the reflection of your deeds as phisical stigmata tbh.

It would be nice if you ended up playing a chapter and there was no clear right or wrong side, and you got to choose from either one...... We have that in Factions though.

It would also be fun if you got to choose the enemy side, kind of like a chapter where the Char and Ascolon fight, and you get to choose to be a Char if you wanted to.

A good twist in gameplay or story perspective would be an improvement.

Problem is it seems being "evil" is candy to little kids like "lol ninjas with guns = owned" I like the concept though.
